The safari experience will start as early as 6:30 am by meeting up with our guide, take you through the briefing sessions for your safari experience. After the session, you will visit your first destination, the Arusha Declaration museum, which will showcase the Arusha Declaration that was spearheaded by Julius Nyerere, the then-president of Tanzania, in 1967. This focused on the strict ethical leadership standards to improve the well-being of the people by reducing poverty, economic inequality, and so on. You will also get the chance to visit the central market, a vibrant market where you will come across different people from different walks of life. The market offers fresh produce like organic fruits, roasted meat, and many other items. During mid-day, you will participate in the cultural heritage center, where you can watch several artisans, craft shops to buy souvenirs, and many other attractions. You will also get to eat a delicious local lunch. Late in the afternoon, after lunch, you can visit the Shanga Foundation for travelers interested in giving back to the community. This workshop is for people with disabilities who you can sponsor for a day. You can also take a stroll around Lake Duluti, which is a breathtaking lake known for its emerald-green waters, where you will watch a number of different bird species, as the lake is home to over 100 bird species.
