This 1 Day Big Five safari in Akagera National Park will lead you to Akagera National Park home to the big five animals in Rwanda and while on this safari, you will center around tracking the big five animals when you participate in the game drives in akagera national park which will help you explore both the southern and northern sector which have a lot to offer to travelers interested in the wildlife safaris in Rwanda.
As early as 6:00 am, you will be picked up from Kigali city to transfer you to Akagera National Park. The estimated time for the drive to the park is between 3-4 hours. On reaching the park, you will get to enjoy a full day game drive in Akagera National Park, where the first half of the drive will be in the southern sector of the park, where you will watch a number of herbivores like the impalas, gazelles, elands, buffaloes, and rhinos as they graze within the plains among other herbivores. You will watch the big five animals like the buffalo, rhinos, elephants, lions, and leopards, and many other animal species. After the first half of your game drive, you will have lunch at one of the picnic spots and later on participate in the second half of your drive, which will lead you to the carnivores coming from their hiding spots to catch their prey. After the safari experience, you will head back to Kigali city, where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice in Kigali city the end of your 1 Day Big Five safari in Akagera National Park.
