DAY ONE: PICK UP IN KIGALI AND TRANSFER TO RUHENGERI FOR GORILLA TREKKING IN VOLCANOE NATIONAL PARK
On the day of your 1 Day Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda from KigaliBy 4am at an agreed location in Kigali city, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to Volcanoes national park the home to the endangered mountain gorillas in Rwanda.
once you reach the park headquarters, you will present the necessary documents before you participate in the activity and after verification participate in the briefing session which will give you an insight of the rules and regulations to follow during gorilla trekking in volcanoes national park. After the briefing session you will then embark on your gorilla trekking experience in Rwanda.
This experience of gorilla trekking in Rwanda is a once in a life time adventure which will give you an up-close look at the gentle giants in their natural habitat. The rangers will lead you deep into the forest in search of the Gorillas. As You move up the rugged terrain and finally get to meet the habituated gorilla families.
The activity in Rwanda can take 3-5 hours depending in the movement of the gorillas in the wild. You will spend one hour with the gorillas observing their different features, how the co-exist with one another, their feeding patterns and many other rewarding features. After the experience have lunch and embark on your drive to Kigali and during the drive you will enjoy beautiful views of the tea estates that will make your safari experience memorable and drop off in Kigali or Kigali international airport as you may advise.
