1 Day Uganda Golden Monkey Trekking and Batwa Trail Experience : This Uganda safari will give you quite the thrill visiting the endangered golden monkeys endemic to the Albertine rift and the Batwa, an interesting group of people that have a lot to learn from when you participate in the Batwa trail experience which will give you an insight of their culture all of which will make your Uganda safari quite memorable. As early as 6:00am, depending on your location in areas around Mgahinga National Park, you will be picked by our guide who will transfer you to the park where you reach in time to participate in golden monkey trekking in Uganda. On reaching the park, you will get to participate in the briefing session for golden monkey trekking in Uganda.
After the briefing sessions and verification of the golden monkey trekking permit, you will be assigned to a guide, a ranger who will take you on your safari experience hiking the Virunga mountains in the park that is mount Muhabura, mount Sabyinyo and mount Gahinga to the habituated golden monkey troops.
While hiking through the forests, you will get to watch a number of different attractions like the primates for instance the mona monkey, Hamlyn`s monkey, vervet monkey silver monkey and many other primates, you will also get to watch a number of different bird species that can be seen for a memorable safari experience.
On reaching the habituated golden monkey troops in Mgahinga National Park, you will get the chance to spend an hour with the species taking their pictures, asking as many questions as possible from the guide to ensure that you have a memorable safari experience. With the species you will have the opportunity to take pictures of the species, you will also get to watch how they co-exist with one another and the wild for a memorable safari experience.
After the safari experience, you will head back to your starting point where you will be presented your golden monkey trekking certificate to show that you participated in the activity.
After the safari experience, you will have lunch and later visit the Batwa community to participate in the Batwa trail experience, which will give you an insight of the culture of the Batwa from their traditional dashes, their local dances, their lifestyle since moving from the forest.
After the safari experience, you will connect with your guide who will then transfer you to be dropped off at a location of your choice and the end of your safari in Uganda.
