Detailed Safari Iitnerary

Day one: Arrival in Kigali and transfer to Nyungwe national park

On day one of your 11 days Uganda and Rwanda safari, as early as 7 am your guide for your safari will pick you from a location of your choice in Kigali city or Kigali international airport and take you through the briefing session of your entire safari. During the briefing session where your guide for the safari will give you an insight of the activities you will participate during your safari like gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking among other activities, you will also be briefed on the rules and regulations to follow during your activities and as you participate in your Uganda and Rwanda safari for an amazing safari as you visit Rwanda and Uganda. After the briefing session you will begin your safari by taking in part of the Kigali city tour where you will get to visit memorable sites like the Kigali genocide memorial museum where you will get to understand the events that led to the occurrence of the Rwanda genocide, you will also get to visit the Kimironko market the largest market in Rwanda where you will get to purchase souvenirs, organic fruits, Rwanda traditional attires among other products. At the climax of your Kigali city tour, you will get to visit one of the restaurants in the city where you will have tasty Rwanda dishes. After the rewarding experience, you will make your way to Nyungwe national park where you will check in your hotel. On reaching your hotel, you have time to loosen up rest and in the evening, you will have dinner.

DAY TWO CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND CANOPY WALK

On day two of your 11 days Uganda and Rwanda safari after an early morning breakfast at your hotel with your packed lunch, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to Nyungwe national park where you will get to participate in chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk. Chimpanzee trekking in Rwanda is quite a rewarding activity which will give you the chance to understand more about the primate species which will give you an amazing time in the park. The activity involves hiking through the forest o the park in order to access the habituated chimpanzee troops, during the activity you will have the chance to observe how they carry out their daily activities, how they carry out their daily activities, their grooming patterns, how they care for their infants, how they construct their nests for overnight stay. After the rewarding experience, you will have your lunch and relaxation. After your lunch you will participate in the canopy walk which will give you the chance to see a number of rewarding and breathtaking views of the park at an ariel view. You will get to see numerous bird species, a number of primates swinging from one tree branch to another among other rewarding attractions and views. After the experience, you will head back to your hotel or dinner and overnight stay.

Day three: transfer to akagera national park and evening boat cruise

On day three of your 11 days Uganda and Rwanda safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will embark on your journey to akagera national park the home to all the big five animal in Rwanda. On reaching, you will check in your hotel where you will relax have lunch and later in the evening you will get to transfer to akagera national park where you will participate in the evening boat cruise. During the cruise, you will get to see Hippos will be seen taking dips in the water, crocodile sun bathing as they also wait up on their capable prey, zebras, you will also get to watch the sunset which makes the park more beautiful as you get to watch a number of water birds like the African kingfisher catching prey in the park while you relax while on the evening boat cruise. At the end of your safari, you will head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY FOUR: MORNING AND EVENING BOAT CRUISE

On day four of your 11 days Uganda and Rwanda safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to the pack in order to participate in the morning game drive. During the game drive, you will have the chance to see early risers in the park catching their first bite of the day for instance the rhinos, zebras, grazing in the plains of the park among other animal species. Day five: golden monkey trekking

On day five of your 11 days Uganda and Rwanda safari, after an early morning breakfast at our hotel, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to volcanoes national park the home to the endangered mountain gorillas and the golden monkeys. On reaching the park, you will transfer to the reception where you will undergo the briefing session of golden monkey trekking and after the you will begin hiking to the habituated golden monkey troops n order to understand their behaviour while in the park for instance how they co-exist with one another, their feeding patterns among other rewarding experiences of the primate. After the encounter you will head back to your hotel or lunch and later on in the evening you will participate in the Batwa trail experience which involve visiting the former forest people that depended on the forest for survival, the Batwa are an interesting group that is still inclined to traditional methods of living opposed to a number of people that embraced modernity, the Batwa will give you an amazing time because of their authenticity. After the wonderful experience you will head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day six: transfer to Bwindi impenetrable

Day seven: gorilla trekking

On day seven of your 13 days Uganda and Rwanda safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel with your packed lunch, you will be picked from your and transferred to take part in gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park where you will get to understand more about the endangered primate species, gorilla trekking in the park will also give you the chance to see a number of rewarding attractions like the a number of bird species, numerous primate species like the dent’s monkey, silver monkey, chimpanzees among other rewarding attractions. After the rewarding experience you will head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day eight: transfer to queen Elizabeth lion tracking

On day eight of your 11 day Uganda and Rwanda safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth national park through the Ishasha sector where you will take part in a memorable lion tracking experience where you will get to see the tree climbing lions you will also get to see how the big cats carry out their daily activities in the park like catching prey, how they establish their territories among other rewarding features. After the memorable experience, you will head to your hotel for lunch and later in the evening participate in nature walks. Dinner and overnight stay will be served at your hotel.

Day nine: Morning and Evening boat cruise

On day nine of your twelve day Uganda and Rwanda safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to the park in order to participate in the morning game drives which will give you the chance to see a number of early risers in the park like the buffaloes, Uganda kobs, elephants, impalas grazing in the plains, crocodiles waiting on their prey among other rewarding views of the park and views of the Kazinga channel where you will see a number of water birds among other rewarding attractions. You will head back to your hotel for a memorable lunch and later on you will participate in the boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which will give you the chance to see a number of rewarding views of a number of water birds exceptional views of a number of attractions like crocodiles sun basking, buffaloes taking a dip in the water and numerous water birds among other rewarding attractions after the rewarding attraction, you will transfer back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY ten: TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK AND CHIMPANZEE TREKKING

On day ten of your 11 Uganda and Rwanda safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked by your guide and transferred to Kibale national park where you will take part in chimpanzee trekking which will give you the chance to understand the primate species by observing their behaviour in the wild, their feeding patterns, how they co-exist with one another among other rewarding features of the primates and many more. You will head back to your hotel for lunch and after your rewarding lunch you will transfer to the local communities to participate in the community tour where you will get the chance to visit schools that have been constructed as a result of tourist aid and a percentage of the park entrance fees that are collected from tourists, you will also get to see how the people of the community make a number of crafts that are sold as souvenirs to tourists for the local communities to earn a living. At the end of your safari, you will head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day eleven: drop off in Kampala

On day eleven of your 11 day Uganda and Rwanda safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to Kampala city where you will take part in the Kampala city tour which will give you the chance to visit a number of sites in the city like Nakasero market one of the oldest and largest markets in Uganda where you can purchase a number of organic fruits, traditional attires among other products. You will also get to visit namirembe cathedral the oldest cathedral in Uganda, Uganda mosque/ gadaffi mosque among other rewarding sites. After the rewarding tour, you will have lunch and after you will be dropped at a location of your choice in Kampala city or Entebbe international airport and the end of your safari.
