At an agreed location in Kigali city, our guide, a representative of our company will give you a briefing session on your gorilla habituation in Uganda after the safari experience. after the session, you will then embark on your Kigali city tour which is an optional activity that you may or may not participate in to enjoy your time in the land of 1000 hills. During your Kigali city tour, there are a number of different destinations like the Kigali genocide memorial museum which will give you the opportunity to understand more about the 1994 Rwanda genocide which led to the death of a million Rwandans. You will visit the Kimironko market the largest and the oldest market in Uganda that you can visit to purchase a number of souvenirs, you will get to spend time with some of the vendors since there are different people from different countries making it a diverse area to visit that will give you a little bit of everything. After the experience, you will make your way to Uganda through the Cyanika border. You will transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. if time is willing you can participate in the Batwa trail experience which will give you the chance to understand the authentic culture of the formerly that lived in harmony with a number of wild animals in the wild. you will watch their unique culture through food which you will get to enjoy their traditional dances. Day 2: Gorilla habituation and transfer back to Kigali city
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, with your packed lunch, you will make your way to the park headquarters in Rushaga where you will participate in gorilla habituation in Uganda. At the park headquarters, you will get the chance to participate in the briefing session, you will be given a ranger, and a guide to accompany you to the gorilla family.
