Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park and Ihema Boat Cruise
At your agreed location in Kigali city or Kigali international airport to transfer to Akagera national park where you will arrive in time to embark in the boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you will see game like hippopotamuses, elephants quenching their thirst from the river banks, Crocodiles and many bird species like the endangered shoe bill stork, the king fishers and many other water birds that live around the lake and the surrounding swamps. After the experience, head back to your hotel for refreshments and later in the evening participate in the evening game drive, which will give you clear views of how the herbivores prepare themselves to head to their hiding spots for an overnight stay. After the safari experience, head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Akagera Game Lodge. Dinner and overnight at a selected hotel.
Day 2: Full day game drive and transfer to Kigali.
After breakfast, connect with your guide and embark on your full day game drive with great anticipation of seeing the different animals which rise early to graze and predators like the lions, hyenas, bat-eared fox, and other animals looking for their early morning kill, especially the big cats like the leopard, lions, and many other carnivores. After the morning game drives, you will head to a picnic spot, have lunch, and after you will participate in the afternoon game drive, which will give you the chance to watch a number of different animal species that you might have missed out on in the morning drive. After an amazing safari experience, you will make your way back to Kigali or Kigali international airport, where you will be dropped off by your guide and the end of your 2 Days Rwanda Wildlife Safari.
