Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Connect with your guide and make your way to Volcanoes National Park, home to the mountain gorillas in Africa. You will have a stopover at the Ibyi’wacu cultural village to give you the opportunity to have a look into the culture of the people of through their cultural dances, traditional dishes, folk songs, and many other rewarding cultural attributes. After the safari experience, head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Mount Gahinga hike

Have breakfast and make your way to the park to participate in the Mount Gahinga hike. The safari experience is a 6-hour hike, depending on the level of readiness of the traveler interested in the safari.
