DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: PICKUP AND TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

On day one of your 3 days of Murchison falls and chimpanzee trekking safari, depending on a location of your choice in Kampala City, your guide will pick you up and take you through your 4 days trip to Murchison falls, the rules and the regulations to follows for a memorable safari, the different activities you will participate in.  After the briefing session, you will make your way to Murchison falls national park passing through different towns like Luwero town, Masindi town the fruit growing town where you will get to enjoy a number of organic fruits like pineapples, watermelons, bananas among other fruits. After the rewarding experience you will proceed to the Ziwa rhino sanctuary where a ranger will brief you about rhino tracking and the activity will take close to 2 hours and from there you will enjoy lunch still in Masindi town. After lunch you will proceed to the park where a great adventure awaits you. On reaching the park you will check in your hotel where you will relax as you wait for dinner and then an overnight stay.

DAY2: GAME DRIVE AND LAUNCH CRUISE IN THE PARK

On day two of your 3 days Murchison falls and chimpanzee trekking safari, after an early morning breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to the park to participate in the morning game drive which will give you the chance to see a number of early risers in the park like the buffaloes, Uganda kobs, elephants, impalas grazing in the plains, antelopes, duikers, Jackson’s, hartebeest, zebras among others other animals that can be seen include prey hunters like the lions, leopards before they go into hiding because it is difficult to see them during the afternoon which can be seen in the northern side of the park this will enable tourists to a number of numbers grazing in the plains lie the elephants, buffalos after the memorable activity you will head back to your hotel for lunch, leisure and relaxation and later on in the evening, you will take part in the afternoon launch cruise. After lunch, you will transfer to the park to take part in the afternoon launch cruise at 2pm where a number of animals like hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalos are seen, water birds can also be seen, the sound of the falls as they pass through the narrow gorge is appealing to one’s ears and scenery also which is breathtaking. The launch cruise will offer relaxing and thrilling adventures which after consuming all what nature offers, you will head to you hotel in order to re fresh yourself and relax as you wait for dinner at your hotel.

DAY3: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND TRANSFER TO KAMPALA

On day four of your 3 days Murchison falls and chimpanzee trekking safari, after an early morning breakfast, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to Budongo to take part in  chimpanzee trekking . The forest is a home to a number of primate species including the baboons, different monkey species like the vervet monkey, the black and white colobus monkeys and many others while taking part in chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest you will have a rewarding experience because you will get the chance to understand more about the primate species which will give you an amazing time in the park. The activity involves hiking through the forest o the park in order to access the habituated chimpanzee troops, during the activity you will have the chance to observe how they carry out their daily activities, how they carry out their daily activities, their grooming patterns, how they care for their infants, how they construct their nests for overnight stay.  After chimpanzees trekking, you will return to your hotel to checkout and after that you will embark on your journey bark to Kampala. Through Masindi, you will have lunch and then proceed to Kampala city where you will be dropped off to a location of your choice.
