DETAILED ITINERARY
Day one: Arrival in Kigali and transfer to volcanoes national park
On day one of your 5 days Uganda and Rwanda primate safari, as early as 7 am your guide for your safari will pick you from a location of your choice in Kigali city or Kigali international airport and take you through the briefing session of your entire safari. During the briefing session where your guide for the safari will give you an insight of the activities you will participate during your safari like gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking among other activities, you will also be briefed on the rules and regulations to follow during your activities and as you participate in your Uganda and Rwanda safari for an amazing safari as you visit Rwanda and Uganda. After the briefing session you will begin your safari by taking in part of the Kigali city tour where you will get to visit memorable sites like the Kigali genocide memorial museum where you will get to understand the events that led to the occurrence of the Rwanda genocide, you will also get to visit the Kimironko market the largest market in Rwanda where you will get to purchase souvenirs, organic fruits, Rwanda traditional attires among other products. At the climax of your Kigali city tour, you will get to visit one of the restaurants in the city where you will have tasty Rwanda dishes. After the rewarding experience, you will make your way to volcanoes national park where you will check in your hotel. On reaching your hotel, you have time to loosen up rest and in the evening, you will have dinner.
Day two: golden monkey trekking
On day two of your 5 days Uganda and Rwanda primate safari, after an early morning breakfast at our hotel, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to volcanoes national park the home to the endangered mountain gorillas and the golden monkeys. On reaching the park, you will transfer to the reception where you will undergo the briefing session of golden monkey trekking and after the you will begin hiking to the habituated golden monkey troops n order to understand their behaviour while in the park for instance how they co-exist with one another, their feeding patterns among other rewarding experiences of the primate. After the encounter you will head back to your hotel or lunch and later on in the evening you will participate in the Batwa trail experience which involve visiting the former forest people that depended on the forest for survival, the Batwa are an interesting group that is still inclined to traditional methods of living opposed to a number of people that embraced modernity, the Batwa will give you an amazing time because of their authenticity. After the wonderful experience you will head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day three: transfer to Bwindi impenetrable
On day three of your 5 days Uganda and Rwanda primate safari after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will checkout of hotel and make your way to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On reaching the park you will check in your hotel where you will have leisure lunch and overnight stay.
Day four: gorilla trekking
On day four of your 5 days Uganda and Rwanda primate safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel with your packed lunch, you will be picked from your and transferred to take part in gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park where you will get to understand more about the endangered primate species, gorilla trekking in the park will also give you the chance to see a number of rewarding attractions like the a number of bird species, numerous primate species like the dent’s monkey, silver monkey, chimpanzees among other rewarding attractions. After the rewarding experience you will head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day five: drop off in Kampala
On day 5 of your 5 days Uganda and Rwanda primate safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to Kampala city where you will take part in the Kampala city tour which will give you the chance to visit a number of sites in the city like Nakasero market one of the oldest and largest markets in Uganda where you can purchase a number of organic fruits, traditional attires among other products. You will also get to visit namirembe cathedral the oldest cathedral in Uganda, Uganda mosque/ gadaffi mosque among other rewarding sites. After the rewarding tour, you will have lunch and after you will be dropped at a location of your choice in Kampala city or Entebbe international airport and the end of your safari.
