Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to ziwa rhino sanctuary
Depending on your location in Kampala city or your hotel in the city, you will be picked up as early as 7:00 am to embark on your drive to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest national park in Uganda. after the briefing session about your safari, you will now embark on the drive to ziwa rhino sanctuary where you will participate in the rhino tracking. The safari experience is an on-foot experience that involves hiking along the trails in the sanctuary which will lead you to the species. On reaching the species you will get to spend some time watching the rhinos in their natural habitat as they go about their daily activities. You will also have the chance to ask as many questions as possible about the species with the knowledgeable guide who will give you all the relevant information about the species. After the safari experience, you can visit Murchison Falls National Park checking into your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and a boat cruise
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by your guide to transfer to the park’s plains to watch a number of different animal species. Some of the species that can be seen include the big cats as they hunt for their prey in the wild, the early risers like the elephants, Uganda kobs, and many herbivores catching their first bite of the day. Like the elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes, jackals, hyenas, Uganda kobs, Oribis, buffaloes, waterbucks, Jackson’s Hartebeests, bushbucks, and hopefully the elusive leopards, and others. After the experience, return to your lodge for lunch,h and later on you will participate in the boat cruise which will give you the chance to watch the bottom of the falls, you will also get to watch a number of animal species as they quench their thirst from the river banks, you will watch primates like the baboons, African fish eagles, Red-throated bee-eaters, skimmers, cattle egrets not forgetting the rare shoebill stork, you will watch a number of elephants and many other attractions. After the boat cruise, you will make your way to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Top of the falls hike and transfer to kampala or Entebbe
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will hike to the top of Murchison Falls where you get to have an amazing view of the Nile squeezing through a narrow gorge of about 7 meters wide and rapturing into violent waterfalls into a whirlpool about 43 meters below. The sight of the world’s most powerful waterfall is worth a visit. Then after, drive to the lodge for lunch. After lunch at around 2:30 pm go for a wildlife boat cruise on Victoria Nile. The experience is done under a relaxing ride of about three and a half hours where you get to enjoy up close a number of wildlife lying along the banks of the River Nile such as hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, elephants, monitor lizards, warthogs and a cocktail of birds like African fish eagles, Red-throated bee-eaters, skimmers, cattle egrets not forgetting the rare shoebill stork and others. After the safari experience, you will then make your way back to Kampala city where you will then make your to the hotel for dinner
Day 4: Fly to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport to catch your domestic flight to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Aero Link operates daily flights to the park and this will take you about 2 hours to Kihihi airstrip where our guide will be waiting for you to transfer to your hotel where you will enjoy your lunch and the rest of your evening relaxing at your hotel.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking experience in Uganda
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up from your hotel. our guide will meet you after having your breakfast and your lunches packed and he will take you to Kinigi Headquarters where you are expected to be given a brief before starting the gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park. This brief is done at 7 am. You are given guidelines during this brief before you are allowed to start the trek. This gorilla trek can take about 2 hours to half a day as it’s unpredictable. When you finally find the gorillas, you will have to maintain a 7 meters distance and you are allowed one hour to admire and take photos of the gorillas. During the time you spend with the gorillas, you will get the opportunity to understand a number of their rewarding features like how they co-exist with one another, you will get to watch the duty of the dominant silverback whose role is to mate with the adult females to increase the members of the family, raid other gorilla families for their members, you will watch the juveniles grooming one another for a rewarding safari experience. After the trek, you will head to your hotel for relaxation and later in the afternoon participate in the community tour to understand the indigenous culture of the people of Uganda.
Day 6: Fly back to Entebbe and departure
After breakfast in the morning, you will be dropped off at the airstrip to catch your flight to Entebbe International Airport for your return flight.
