Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

At a location of your choice in Kigali city, you will be picked by your guide who will give you a briefing session about your 6 days Safari. You will participate in the Kigali City tour which will lead you to a number of memorable sites like the Kigali genocide memorial museum, Kimironko market after the city tour, and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National park and upon arrival you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma haven lodge-midrange or Buhoma community rest camp-budget.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park

After an early breakfast, you will carry packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle in search of the habituated gorilla family which takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. During trekking you will be able to see others primates, animals like the buffaloes, the bush bucks, bird species among others and once the gorillas are found you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to learn more about their behaviour, watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, breastfeeding the infants, playing, take photos and record the moments to show people back home.

After the exciting moment with the mountain gorillas you will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide to go for an optional cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the batwa people, learn about their culture, way of living, listen to their ancient stories, enjoy their traditional entertainment among others. After the cultural tour, you will transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park through the ishasha sector

After an early breakfast start the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park via Ishasha sector where you will be able to view the tree climbing lions which will be lying up in acacia/ fig tree branches, you will also be able to view other animals like elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, hippos, view some bird species among others. After the game drive in Ishasha sector you will have en-route lunch and then continue to Queen Elizabeth national park and upon arrival you will check into the lodge for dinner and stay at Elephant hub-midrange or Pumba safari cottages-budget.

Day 4: Morning game drive/lion tracking experience and afternoon boat cruise

After an early breakfast on the third day of the 6 days Kibale, Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive in Kasenyi plains. During the game drive you will have great views of the sunrise, animals like lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, views of different bird species among others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will go for an incredible boat cruise along Kazinga channel a waterbody that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. During the boat trip you will be able to view large concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view buffaloes, elephants, warthog’s drinking water along the banks, view water birds among others. You will also be able to see the fishermen along the shores preparing their fishing gears for night fishing. After the boat cruise you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale forest national park and Bigodi Nature walk

On the 5th day of your 6 Days Uganda Safari from Kigali, After your early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way to Kibale National park enjoying spectacular views of the local people, farmlands, traditional homesteads, Rwenzori Mountains, tea plantations among others. Upon arrival you will check in your hotel, have lunch and later participate in the Bigodi nature walk. The swamps are a home to the great turaco and also number of bird species making it a real bird watcher’s paradise. The Beautiful and wonderful Sanctuary shelters over 200 species of birds including Hornbills, Turacos, Parrots, Cranes, Kingfishers and many more swamp endemics. Furthermore, the sanctuary is the home of 8 species of primates, including the Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, L’hoest’s Monkey, Vervet Monkey and the Blue Monkey. After the experience, you will head back to your hotel for refreshments. Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale national park and drop off

After an early breakfast you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kanyachu Visitors Centre for chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the forest which takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on their location. Once the chimpanzees have been located, you will spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to learn more about their life style, behavior, watch them feed, enjoy the juveniles playing up in the trees, take photos and record videos with a flash less camera. After chimpanzee trekking you will transfer to Kampala. On the way you will have a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch where after you will continue the journey with another stopover at the Equator to take photos and buy souvenirs. From the Equator you will proceed to Kampala arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of advise in Kampala.
