DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
On day one of your 8 days Uganda primates and wildlife safari in Uganda, upon your arrival in Uganda, your guide for your entire safari will welcome you to the country and take you through a briefing session of your 3 days Murchison Falls National Park tour and the rules and regulations to follow during your stay in the country. After your briefing session, you begin your tour Murchison Falls National Park the largest National Park in Uganda. During your way to the Park, you will make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary the only rhino sanctuary in Uganda where you will have amazing experiences watching the endangered rhino species, different monkey species like he black and white colobus monkey, the Mona monkey and many more, crocodiles, hippos, antelopes and so on. You will have lunch in Masindi town after your Ziwa rhino sanctuary tour and then you will proceed to the park. On reaching the park, you will participate in the top of the falls hike which is quite a memorable experience where you will get to see the water thunders and rapids on a high speed falling over a gorge which is a beautiful experience where you will get exceptional views of the park from an aerial view.

DAY 2: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON LAUNCH CRUISE
On day two of you 8 days Uganda primates and wildlife safari in Uganda, after an early morning breakfast, your guide will pick you from your hotel and transfer you to the northern bank of river Nile where you will participate n the morning game drive. During the morning game drives you will witness the park coming to life with a number of early risers flooding the plains to catch an early morning bite for the day and among the different animal species that can be seen include; elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda kobs, Oribi, bush bucks, topis and waterbucks among other animal species for memorable safaris after the morning game drives, you will head back to your hotel for refreshments lunch and in the evening, you will participate in the evening launch cruise on Lake Albert. After lunch, your guide will transfer you to the park to participate in the launch cruise which will offer amazing experiences during your safaris in the park, you will get to see the amazing views of the bottom of the falls where you will see a number of water birds like the African king fisher, the cormorants , spoon bills, the bee eaters along the river banks, you will also see a number of wild animals like crocodiles, hippos, elephants quenching their thirst from the river banks among other species for a memorable 3 days Murchison falls national park tour. You will head back to your hotel for relaxation dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast on the third day of the 8 days Uganda primates and wildlife safari in Uganda, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kibale national park also known as the primate capital. On the way you will have en-route lunch, stopovers to take pictures, stretch your legs and enjoy stunning views of the beautiful scenery, Rwenzori mountain ranges, Lake George, crater lakes, tea plantations among others. Upon arrival in Kibale national park you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Isunga lodge(budget) Chimpanzee guest house-midrange
DAY 4: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 8 days Uganda primates and wildlife safari in Uganda, you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kanyachu visitors Centre for a chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the forest in search of the habituated chimpanzee family. During the trekking you will be able to view other primate species like red tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, grey checked baboon, view different bird species, tree species among others. Once the chimpanzees under habituation are found you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their behaviors, habits, watch them feed, breastfeed, hunt, play, fight, mate, rest, take photos and record the moments to show people back home after the safari.
After the one hour with the chimpanzees, you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will check out of the lodge and start the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park and on the way you will enjoy stunning views of the beautiful scenery, crater lakes, Rwenzori mountain ranges, tea plantations among others. Upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth national park you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Queen Elizabeth Bush lodge (budget) Elephant hab –midrange
Day 5: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
On the fifth day of the 8 days Uganda primates and wildlife safari in Uganda, you will have an early breakfast and your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for an adventurous game drive in Kasenyi plains. During the game drive you will be able to view animals like elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, warthogs, predators like lions, leopards, variety of bird species among others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will go for an interesting boat cruise on Kazinga channel a water channel that joins Lake George and Lake Edward. During the scheduled boat cruise which starts at 2:00pm, you will be able to enjoy stunning views of the beautiful scenery, landscape, view animals like elephants, warthogs, buffaloes, waterbucks at a close range drinking water along the banks, view large concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, aquatic bird species among other. After the boat cruise, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After breakfast on the sixth day of the 8 days Uganda primates and wildlife safari in Uganda, you will check out of the lodge and your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to start the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will have a stopover at Ishasha sector where you will be able to view the tree climbing lions which will be lying up in acacia/ fig tree branches if you are lucky. After the game drive you will have en-route lunch and then proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park and upon arrival you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma community (budget)/ Buhoma haven lodge-midrange
Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
On the 7th day of your 8 days Uganda primates and wildlife safari in Uganda. After an early breakfast, you will carry packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle in search of the mountain gorillas which takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. During trekking you will be able to view other primate species such as l’hoest monkeys, chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, different plant species, birds among others. Once the mountain gorillas are found you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their habits, behaviors, watch gorillas feed, breastfeed, groom young ones, take photos and record the breathtaking moments to show people back home after the safari. After the one hour encounter with the gentle giants you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will be rewarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and then drive out of the park and drive back to Kigali.Upon arrival our driver guide will drop you off at Kigali international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of advise.
Day 8: Departure to Kigali
On the 8th day of your 8 days Uganda primates and wildlife safari in Uganda. You will have an early morning breakfast at your hotel your guide will pick you up and get to participate in the dian fossey hike which will lead you to the museum, where you will understand more about her works in the conservation and the sustainability of the gorillas in Africa. After the safari experience, you will then make your way to Kigali city having lunch en-route. You will be dropped off at a location of your choice in Kigali and the end of your 3days volcanoes national park safari. If you missed out on the city tour on the first day, you can take part in the Kigali city tour where you will visit a number of sites like the Kigali genocide memorial museum, the Kimironko market where you can purchase souvenirs.
