A Tour Around the Rwanda Art Museum : The Rwanda Art Museum is a must-see destination for any art lover. Rwanda is a beautiful country rich in both nature and art. The museum was opened in 2006 and is housed in an impressive colonial building. It is often referred to as one of the most beautiful museums in Africa and is definitely worth a visit. When I visited the museum I was struck by the beauty of the building as well as the many pieces of art on display. Below are some highlights from the visit.

I arrived at the museum around midday and was greeted by one of the guards who escorted me to the main reception area. The museum houses a vast collection of art from throughout Rwanda’s history, with pieces dating back to the 1800s. The museum is located in Kigali, just a short distance from the center of the city. The museum is a wonderful place to spend the day learning about Rwandan history and culture through one of the country’s greatest treasures – its art, A Tour Around the Rwanda Art Museum

There are several ways you can experience the museum during your stay in Kigali. If you have some time to spare, I highly recommend taking a guided tour of the museum. The tour lasts for about 90 minutes and is informative and engaging. It is a great way to learn about the history of the museum as well as see the different exhibits on display. I had my lunch from a cafe outside the museum before I went to my tour. I would recommend having a meal at the museum restaurant as the food was delicious and the staff was really friendly. This was definitely one of the highlights of my visit to the museum! After my tour, I returned to the restaurant and had some delicious dessert while I finished my article for assignment writing.

In addition to the guided tour, the museum offers a variety of different events on a regular basis. These include live music performances, art exhibitions, and film screenings. They also have a cafe where you can get a bite to eat or grab a refreshing drink. On Sundays, they also have a special flea market where you can browse for unique items and souvenirs made by local artisans.
