How to get to Mabamba swamps
For travellers interested in visiting the swamps to watch the different bird species, you can access the swamps on road and these can be seen in Kasanje and kamengo and they can be accessed in either Entebbe or Kampala. Through Entebbe, you can drive from Kisubi, drive towards nakawuka through Kasanje and then you will make your way to Mabamba. From Kampala you’ll drive along masaka road and within 30 kilometres, you will head to Buyege and from Buyege, you will drive for 22 kilometres where you will get to Mabamba swamps for an amazing experience.
